Full Journal pdf2022-05-14 Senate Journal Page 2739 HB 281 Message dated May 14 was read stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment(s) to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 281(FIN) am(brf sup maj fld)(efd fld) "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and for certain programs; capitalizing funds; amending appropriations; and making capital appropriations, supplemental appropriations, and reappropriations" and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendment(s), namely: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 281(FIN) am S "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and for certain programs; capitalizing funds; amending appropriations; making capital appropriations, supplemental appropriations, and reappropriations; and providing for an effective date." In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative Merrick, Chair Representative Ortiz Representative LeBon 2022-05-14 Senate Journal Page 2740 Senator Myers, Acting Majority Leader, moved the Senate recede from its amendment(s) and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendment(s)?" YEAS: 1 NAYS: 13 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 4 Yeas: Shower Nays: Begich, Bishop, Hoffman, Holland, Kawasaki, Kiehl, Micciche, Myers, Stedman, Stevens, von Imhof, Wielechowski, Wilson Excused: Gray-Jackson, Revak Absent: Costello, Hughes, Olson, Reinbold and so, the Senate failed to recede. President Micciche appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Stedman, Chair Senator Bishop Senator Wielechowski Senator Shower objected, then withdrew his objection. The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
